About John Rumcik

I started my real estate career in 2006 and went full time in January 2007. A little later that year the real estate bubble started to burst; this was a difficult time, but I was able to perform well in a difficult market. The lessons I learned then have helped me greatly today; they have allowed me to serve our clients exceptionally well because I have seen it all!
I sell about 35 homes a year with an average total annual volume of about $18 million. I have sold over 450 homes in my career with a dedicated personal level of service. I grow my business through referrals from my clients. I am a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and Diamond Lifetime Top Producer member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors. I have also been featured in the Northern Virginia Magazine "Top Real estate Agents" in 2013-2020. I was also featured in the Washingtonian magazine as one of their "Top Real Estate Agents" in 2013-2020.

I moved to Northern Virginia in 1999 after graduating from Gannon University in Erie, PA. Originally from Pittsburgh, I have been married to my beautiful wife Kristin since 2003. We live in Lorton with our rescued racing Greyhound. We actively support the ESPWA foundation bringing medical care to Haiti and love helping to rescue greyhounds. I am also the self-appointed "Biggest REALTOR in VA (Based on arm size)" and have a humorous picture to prove it! I’m an avid bodybuilder and won several awards. Including the 2019 National Physique Committee (NPC) Super Heavyweight Virginia State Championship. I won the Mid Atlantic Super Heavyweight championship (All amateur and natural sows) I was recently featured in the RE/MAX Above magazine with my life coach Arnold Schwarzenegger.
